The 2023 MAMA Awards (formerly known as Mnet Asian Music Awards) ended the month of November with a lot of awesome performances, gorgeous visuals, and award-winning artists.

The 2023 MAMA Awards was held for two days at the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan on November 29-30. The first chapter (Day 1) was hosted by singer Jeon Somi, while the second chapter (Day 2) was hosted by actor Park Bogum.
RED CARPET (Chapters 1 & 2)
DAY 1
The first day of the 2023 MAMA Awards was filled with K-Idols shining bright at the Red Carpet hosted by Ralral, LeeHyeSung, and Hanhae. Performing artists and presenters were introduced: JUST B, xikers, Lee Young Ji, Jung Chan Sung, Yun Sung Bin, &TEAM, Joo Hyun Young, Dynamic Duo, INI, Go Min Si, Kep1er, Ahn Jae Hong, Aoki Munetaka, TREASURE, Street Woman Fighter 2, Yoshiki, ENHYPEN, Hwang Min Hyun, Kim So Hyun, JO1, Lee Joon Hyuk, RIIZE, TOMORROW BY TOGETHER, 2PM’s Lee Junho, TVXQ, Cha Seung Won, and MC Jeon Somi.
DAY 2
More stars shine at the 2023 MAMA Awards Red Carpet hosted by Ralral, LeeHyeSung, and Hanhae. Performing artists and presenters were introduced: BOYNEXTDOOR, EL7Z UP, NiziU, SEVENTEEN, Noh Yoon Seo, ZEROBASEONE, Monika, Park Gyu Young, ATEEZ, Girls’ Generation’s Choi Sooyoung, Byun Woo Seokm Jung Kyung Ho, Yoo Yeon Seok, LE SSERAFIM, (G)I-DLE, Park Eun Bin, Lee Je Hoon, Ryu Seung Ryong, Uhm Jung Hwa, and MC Park Bo Gum.

The 2022 MAMA Awards was filled with spectacular performances, theme stages, and more surprises from the performing lineup of artists.
Chapter 1
Chapter 1 includes performances from JUSTB, &TEAM, Kep1er, Yoshiki, xikers, JO1, INI, Lee Young Ji, Hong Eunchae of LESSERAFIM, ZHANG HAO of ZEROBASEONE, Choi Hyun Suk, Haruto, Yoshi of TREASURE, TAEHYUN, HUENING KAI of TOMORROW X TOGETHER, JAEHYUN of BOYNEXTDOOR, Han Yu Jin of ZEROBASEONE, ANTON of RIIZE, and Jeon Somi.
One of the most notable stages from Chapter 1 came from Lee Young Ji, Hong Eunchae of LESSERAFIM, ZHANG HAO of ZEROBASEONE, Choi Hyun Suk, Haruto, and Yoshi of TREASURE with their I AM SPECIAL” MAMA theme stage.
Followed by the Favorite International Artist winner Yoshiki performing “Endless Rain” tonight with TAEHYUN, HUENING KAI of TOMORROW X TOGETHER, JAEHYUN of BOYNEXTDOOR, Han Yu Jin of ZEROBASEONE, and ANTON of RIIZE at the MAMA Wonder Stage.
The dancing queens of Street Woman Fighter 2 makes their MAMA stage debut with Dynamic Duo as they performed “SMOKE”.
Winning the Inspiring Achievement Award, TVXQ returns to the MAMA stage with “DOWN” and “Rising Sun” with RIIZE.
The Chapter 1 of the 2023 MAMA Awards did not end without Jeon Somi’s performances of “The Way” and “Fast Forward” at the MAMA Stage as MC for the second time.
Chapter 2
Chapter 2 on the other hand, includes performances from ATEEZ, SEVENTEEN, LE SSERAFIM, (G)I-DLE, TREASURE, ZEROBASEONE, RIIZE, BOYNEXTDOOR, EL7Z UP, NiziU, Bada Lee and Monika of “Street Woman Fighter 1 & 2,” and Kep1er’s Xiaoting.
The main highlight performances came from LE SSERAFIM’s Huh Yunjin, Kep1er’s Xiaoting, (G)I-DLE’s Minnie, Monika, and Bada Lee dancing to “Goddess Awakened”.
Another main highlight came from the 2023 MAMA AWARDS Album of the Year Winner SEVENTEEN performing “God of Music” & “Super” back-to-back with an awesome stage visual with the members.

BTS won two awards during the Day 1 of the 2023 MAMA Awards. They brought home the Worldwide Fans’ Choice and the Samsung Galaxy Worldwide Icon of the Year Awards. This also marks the group’s win of the Worldwide Icon of the Year Award for the sixth time. It was received by BTS member Jungkook thanking all the A.R.M.Y.s who send them unwavering love and support.
TVXQ won the Inspiring Achievement award for being a legend in K-pop and inspiring younger generations as well as the next generation of K-pop idols.
NewJeans won the most awards this year with Best Female Group, Best Dance Performance Female Group, Samsung Galaxy Artist of the Year, and Samsung Galaxy Song of the Year for “Ditto”.
SEVENTEEN won Best Dance Performance Male Group and Samsung Galaxy Album of the Year for their 10th EP “FML”.
