PH K-pop and P-pop fans, get ready to celebrate music as K-pop and P-pop share one big stage at the KWAVE Music Festival Philippines! Enjoy the 2024 Badminton Asia Closing Ceremony with amazing performances from your favorite P-pop and K-pop idols at Burnham Green, Rizal Park, Luneta, Manila on Saturday, May 11th.
According to KWAVE PH’s statement, the location was changed from its original venue New Clark City Stadium in Tarlac due to concerns about accessibility and the desire to provide a more favorable environment.
Joining the lineup of artists are K-pop boy group THE BOYZ and K-pop girl group fromis_9, who will be making their Philippine stage debut, along with P-pop groups YGIG, PLUUS, YARA, and KAIA.

Get to know the artist lineup
First on the lineup is fromis_9 as they make their Philippine stage debut with KWAVE Music Festival! With their flawless concepts and all-visual members, Flovers (their fans) in the Philippines will finally witness them perform live on stage. Here’s their recently released track “DM”.
Another K-pop group joining the lineup is THE BOYZ, making their fourth visit to the country. The handsome members will give show-stopping performances as well as adorable charms that Filipino Deobis/TheBs love! So, be sure to watch out!
“P-pop rise!”
It’s time to meet the P-pop groups joining the lineup. Starting with P-pop girl group YGIG (short for You Go, I Go). Feel the groove as they take you to a wonderful universe with their songs.
Next on the list is the P-pop boy group PLUUS, the rising stars that will steal your heart and get you dancing to the beat. Here’s a track to get to know them better.
Another artist on the lineup is YARA (Arabic for butterfly), a P-pop girl group who performs gracefully on stage, especially with their edgy hit track “ADDA”.
KAIA is here! That’s right, the five-member P-pop girl group is ready to turn up the stage with their powerful performances including their latest track release called “You Did It”.
