K-Pop girl group BLACKPINK is set to rock the Coachella stage this April 12 & 19 along with other big names on the U.S. music scene, making them the first female K-Pop act to perform at Coachella.
Coachella is an annual music & arts festival which is held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, located in the Inland Empire’s Coachella Valley in the Colorado Desert. It records 250,000+ attendees in 2017, and features a variety of music genres from rock, pop music, independent music, hip-hop music, electronic dance music (EDM), and now, K-Pop.
Aside from BLACKPINK, Korean indie band HYUKOH is also performing at Coachella on April 14 and 21.
BLACKPINK is set to tour Asia with their ‘In Your Area’ tour, starting this January up to March of 2019.
