BTS is on a roll.
Following their collaboration with worldwide fast food chain McDonalds, the K-pop septet was named Louis Vuitton’s newest house ambassadors earlier today.
There was already some teaser of sorts, to signal that something was in the works back in January. BTS was personally given invites to the brand’s menswear show designed by Virgil Abloh.
The official announcement, though, came after the septet’s performance at the 63rd Grammy Awards Show. They performed their Grammy nominated “Dynamite”.
But this is not the first time we’ve seen these fashion kings work their style with the brand’s apparel. From appearances in various award shows in the region to the global media day for “Dynamite” in 2020, BTS have donned these fashion pieces to convey their individual style.
During the recent Grammy awards, the septet were clad in custom Vuitton suits from the 2021 fall-winter menswear collection.
On BTS becoming house ambassadors, the men’s artistic director at Vuitton, Virgil Abloh, said in a statement, “I am delighted BTS are joining Louis Vuitton today.”
“I am looking forward to this wonderful partnership which adds a modern chapter to the house, merging luxury and contemporary culture. I can’t wait to share all the very exciting projects we are working on.”

In reply to that, BTS said that “becoming global brand ambassadors for Louis Vuitton is a truly exciting moment for us. We are excited for our upcoming projects with Virgil Abloh.”
