Cherry Bullet unable to return to Korea amid Taal Volcano eruption

The girl group is currently in Manila after attending the 24th Asian Television Awards

Korean pop girl group Cherry Bullet were unable to return to South Korea immediately after attending the 24th Asian Television Awards held on January 11 & 12 in Manila, due to volcanic eruption of Taal Volcano nearby.

FNC Entertainment, the girl group’s agency, has released an official statement thru their fan community, saying that Cherry Bullet and all of its staff members are safely staying on a hotel in Manila, and is closely monitoring the siutation.

Originally scheduled to depart today, January 13, the girl group is forced to stay as Manila’s only international airport is completely closed due to continuous volcanic ashfalls. FNC also said that they will return once the situation is normalized.

Cherry Bullet attended the 24th Asia Television Awards held in Manila, Philippines on January 11 and 12, and a volcano eruption near Manila has occurred.

At present, all staff who accompanied the members are staying safely at the hotel and watching the situation.

They were originally scheduled to return home on the 13th, but due to the now completely closed Manila Airport, it will be safe to return as soon as it is normalized.

We sincerely hope that there will be no harm to local residents and fans and we will do our best to make sure that our members and staff can return home safely.
