K-pop singer Chungha has reportedly tested positive for COVID-19, according to a report from SPOTV News on Monday.
According to the report, Chungha has been in contact with a confirmed positive case, and since then undergone testing, which unfortunately came back positive.
It is expected that the singer will halt all of her currently scheduled activities, including the preparations for the release of her first full album ‘Querencia’, and will remain in quarantine for weeks, in order to adhere to the government’s quarantine protocols.
This is another one case of a K-pop celebrity contracting the coronavirus in South Korea, after UP10TION’s Bitto, Kogyeol as well as EVERGLOW’s Yiren and Sihyeon’s positive tests last week. -HallyuLife.com
