On January 9, Yuehua Entertainment released an official statement regarding EVERGLOW Sihyeon and Yiren’s health and their resumption of activities.

This is to announcement that EVERGLOW members Yiren and Sihyeon are out of isolation and have received a negative test result for COVID-19.
After Sihyeon and Yiren tested positive for COVID-19 on December 1, they received treatment according to public health guidelines. This evening, they received a negative result on their final COVID-19 tests. The public health authorities have cleared them to resume all regular activities.
Along with the other four members, who had stopped activities due to self-quarantine measures from being in close contact, EVERGLOW plans to resume communicating with the fans.
As an agency, we will continue to cooperate actively with government’s guidelines on COVID-19 prevention and put the health and safety of our artists and staff first.
We would like to apologize to the fans for causing them concern and thank them for waiting for EVERGLOW.
On December 1, during the spike of the cases, Yuehua Entertainment announced that Yiren and Sihyeon of EVERGLOW tested positive for COVID-19, while the other members have tested negative and went to self-quarantine for 14 days as part of their pre-cautionary health measure.
