After receiving success from their Vietnam and China franchises, SBS Korea’s Chief Global Contents Officer Kim Yong-jae shared that he expects a lot from the Philippines, which apparently seemed to be one of the biggest fans of the show. He also added that they will be incorporating Filipino culture and feature Filipino artists as well.
When asked about the possibility of guestings from South Korean artists, Yong-jae said that they were not certain given the nCov (novel coronavirus) outbreak this time, although they’re trying their best to cooperate with the Korean artists.
According to GMA, Running Man Philippines is set to air on 2021.
Meanwhile, the Korean cast of “Running Man” was supposedly scheduled to conduct their first fan meeting in the Philippines last February 9 at the Mall of Asia Arena, but was later postponed to June 21 due to novel coronavirus (nCov) outbreak. -HallyuLife.com
