PHILIPPINES – Thousands have gathered over Circuit Events Ground in Makati on September 17th, as Globe held its highly anticipated “G Music Fest” event as part of its 917 #ExtraGDayEveryday celebrations, in which both homegrown and international acts have taken part.
Among the international acts on the lineup is the Korean pop girl group bugAboo, whose G Music Fest appearance was their first time performing live in the Philippines, and Thai singer Phum Viphurit, both of which are highly anticipated and welcomed by the audience.
bugAboo graced the festival stage at around 9PM in the evening, where the rain-drenched event didn’t hinder the audience from jamming to their songs and performance.
Except for member Rainie who is not present, the members of bugAboo performed four of their songs (POP, Easy Move, All Night Play, and bugAboo), as well as a dance cover of TWICE’s song “FANCY”, which was well-received by the audience.
Member Cyan shared that she had already visited the Philippines before, although it was the first time she did with the members of bugAboo, and said that they really had fun performing in front of the crowd. She also said in jest, that “it’s really hot in here”, despite the rain showering just before they stepped on the stage. They also thanked the crowd and hoped that they liked their performances, and promised to return later.
