After her successful drama “River Where the Moon Rises” last year, Kim So Hyun is back with another drama coming up.
On September 27, IEUM HASHTAG confirmed multiple reports that Kim So Hyun will be starring in the upcoming drama “Is It a Coincidence?”. The webtoon-based drama of the same name depicts the story of teenagers who mature over time as they move forward with their lives. In the drama, Kim So Hyun takes the role of “Lee Hong Jon”, an animation producer who is afraid of getting in love due to painful memories from her past relationship. This drama will be directed by Song Hyun Wook, the person behind well-known dramas like “Another Miss Oh” (2016), “Beauty Inside” (2018), and “The King’s Affection” (2021). The webtoon-based drama “Is It a Coincidence” will start its filming this year, with the premiere date yet to be announced.
