Philippine telecommunications company Globe Telecom taps the K-pop girl group BLACKPINK as their newest brand ambassador, which was revealed at a media event this Tuesday.
“Please welcome our newest brand ambassadors and members of the Globe family —Blackpink,” Globe president and CEO Ernest Cu said.
“This musical group of young talented artists has been topping the charts all over the world. Today, I am proud to announce that this group is chosen to endorse Globe in the Philippines,” he added.
Previously, Globe teased that there’s something brewing on with BLACKPINK with a photo saying ‘Don’t Blink.’
Globe’s move followed its rival Smart Telecommunications on tapping high-profile Korean acts as endorsers.
