About

fromis_9 (프로미스나인) is a South Korean girl group formed by CJ E&M through the 2017 reality show Idol School, where the group also got its name from. With the initialism of 'From Idol School', the group’s name, being pronounced as “promise” in Korean, also means “to keep their promise to fans to be the best girl group”.

The group is currently managed by Stone Music's subsidiary Off The Record Entertainment and is composed of nine members: Roh Jisun, Song Hayoung, Lee Saerom, Lee Chaeyoung, Lee Nagyung, Park Jiwon, Lee Seoyeon, Baek Jiheon and Jang Gyuri.
