Korean indie band Wave To Earth successfully brought their ‘Play With Earth! 0.03 Tour’ to Manila on February 28, 2025, at the Mall of Asia Arena. They closed the month of love with an unforgettable night filled with soulful melodies and heartfelt performances. After almost a year, band members Kim Daniel, Cha Soon Jong, and Shin Dong Gyu alongside Jo Jung Geun, Jeon Min, and Hong Seung Gi have returned to the Philippines and kick-off their one-night-only concert with ‘are you bored?’ and ‘play with earth!’.
It was then followed by two tracks that not only topped the charts but also resonated deeply with our ears and hearts ‘peach eyes’ and ‘bad’—both performed back-to-back. These songs had Planktons (their fans) singing at the top of their lungs. And when I say back-to-back, I mean it! They kept the energy soaring by performing four more songs, ‘beck’, ‘slow dive’, ‘holyland’, and ‘homesick’, all without missing a beat! Stepping onto the extended stage, guitarist Kim Daniel ignited the crowd with a blistering solo, earning even louder cheers from the audience.
Kim Daniel expressed his heartfelt gratitude to their Philippine Planktons for showing up tonight, saying,
You should know that we are nothing without you, So I want to say thank you so much for tonight.
John Cha, fondly known as Potatoi, shared his heartfelt thoughts with the Manila crowd, saying,
Manila, mahal ko kayo. Even though the show ends like this, it’s still beautiful. We’ll treasure this moment and we hope to see you soon.

The entire arena glowed as fans lit up their phones during Wave to Earth’s heartfelt performance of ‘love’. The magic continued with ‘pueblo’ and ‘annie’, followed by an electrifying encore featuring ‘wave’, ‘pink horizon’, and their beloved hit, ‘seasons’. Before wrapping up the night, the band captured a special moment with the Manila crowd, sealing the unforgettable concert with their final song, pink’.

To cap off the night, Kim Daniel tossed his guitar picks into the crowd, while Donggyu amped up the excitement by giving away his drumsticks. Song after song, their one-and-a-half-hour set became a beautifully packed journey of music and emotion — one that resonated deeply, especially a year after their last visit.
