YG Entertainment (YGE) has finally given fans a new update regarding BLACKPINK members’ solo releases, this, after being bombarded with BLINKs (fans) asking what happened about the promised solo debuts of the three other members after Jennie’s ‘SOLO’ in November 2018.
That, I guess, now has an answer – after their full album release this September.
According to YGE, works for member Rosé’s solo has already been completed (although it wasn’t known since when), and its release date is planned still in September, just after BLACKPINK releases its first full-length album in the same month.
The reason, according to YGE, is that BLACKPINK has agreed first to return as a full group, and that their first full album release is more important than anything.
Lisa’s solo single is also already done and prepared for release, and Jisoo’s, on the other hand, is also being currently prepared, at least, according to YGE. The release order will still continue in the said sequential order (Rosé, Lisa, Jisoo).
YGE also acknowledged that while fans’ opinions sound trivial, in fact, they are helpful on helming their artists’ works and image. They also asked fans to continually support them and their artists, expressing gratefulness to fans in and out of Korea.
It’s only a few days remaining before BLACKPINK returns with a new music this month. -HallyuLife.com
