Following GOT7’s disbandment last month, the boy band’s main rapper, Mark Tuan, returned to his hometown in Los Angeles to spend time with his family.
The 27 year-old rapper is also looking to focus on digital content creation through his personal YouTube channel. It recently surpassed 1 million subscribers, even though the channel had no videos prior to his celebratory clip.
“I know you guys have been waiting for some content. But just give it a little bit more time,” he reassures. “I’ll be posting soon”.
True to his word, his first official video was uploaded on 6 Feb. He documented his farewell with fellow GOT7 bandmates and his journey back to Los Angeles.
Korean entertainment tabloid Dispatch reported on 10 Jan that GOT7 will be disbanding after their contract ends in 2021. They signed with JYP Entertainment for 7 years, since their debut in 2014.
As for his solo musical pursuits, he will also be collaborating with Bangladeshi–American musician Sanjoy for “One In A Million”, his first release after leaving GOT7, which will drop on Feb 12.
While the pre-save link was said to be no longer available two weeks ago due to overwhelming demand, it has since been rectified. Fans can join some 5 million others to pre-save the single here.

Sanjoy previously teamed up with GOT7’s Youngjae for ‘Victim of Love’ in 2017.
