The first-ever (and hopefully not the last) HallyuLife Awards (#HLA2021) is done, and today, we are officially announcing the winners!
With voting exclusively held on our website (hallyulife.com/awards) from December 24 (5 p.m.) to January 5 at 11:59 p.m. KST, the HallyuLife Awards have gathered almost a million votes on its online poll, with the additional millions of tweets from Twitter voting for the HallyuLife Global Fans’ Choice category, in which we picked 10 winners.
We’ve utilized Twitter in order to reach more fans, making sure our Global Fans’ Choice category is actually global. And while the aforementioned category is based on popularity as it seems, the others were also based on a multitude of criteria, such as album/digital sales and streams, as well as HallyuLife team selection.
