K-pop singer, actor, and SHINee’s leader ONEW brought magic last July 4 at the New Frontier Theater with his first solo fan meeting “GUESS” in Manila. It may take seven (7) years for his PH Jjingus and Shawols to see him again but it is all worth the wait.

He performed “Circle” from his first full album of the same name and “Sign” from his first mini-album “Voice”. His voice delighted the crowd as Onew sang live on the Philippine stage, but this time as a solo artist. Onew happily greeted his PH Jjingus saying,
Kumusta? I really missed you guys. I am getting a lot of energy from you guys. I’ll try my best to give good influence and good memories to you guys.
From the title of his first solo fan meet show, ONEW made everyone in the theater “GUESS” what would happen next with a variety of segments that took place that night.
PH Jjingus screamed out of joy as ONEW said a few Tagalog phrases such as “Kumusta kayo?”, “Mahal ko kayo!”, “Pogi ako“, and “Kinikilig ako“. And yes, the whole theater agrees that ONEW is so pogi (handsome)! His fans got to know ONEW more as he shared his most recent pictures including his experience with his very first solo fan meeting. ONEW’s current go-to songs are “As It Was” by Harry Styles and “Love Like Oxygen” by his group SHINee, which he also sang. Regarding his stylish outfits, PH Jjingus loved his doctor outfit when he portrayed the role of Dr. Lee Chi-hoon in the hit K-drama series “Descendants of the Sun”. For ONEW, his songs “Always,” “Caramel,” “Paradise,” “In The Whale” and “Sign” are the songs that will comfort you.
ONEW had fun interacting with his PH Jjingus through a game called “OX Quiz,” in which his fans had to match his choice between the X and O options. He also showed his artistic side as he was challenged to draw two of the tourist spots in the Philippines namely Banaue Rice Terraces in Ifugao and Chocolate Hills in Bohol. And guess what? Two lucky Jjingus received these two artworks signed by ONEW himself. He also played a dance challenge and games such as Balloon Challenge, Tissue Roll Match, and Find the Mic, where he would find the right mic with the right pitch.
His fans would never guess what happens next as ONEW sang an unreleased song and let his PH Jjingus finish the lines in his song through lyrics on the screen. ONEW would never imagine what his fans had prepared for him, as he saw the surprise video greeting him saying, “Don’t forget that Jjingus will always be by your side.” In return, ONEW thanked his fans for their unwavering love and support and said, “I will make sure that this energy that I receive I will make sure to use it for a good purpose also.”

ONEW had a photo time with his PH Jjingus and made a promise of returning to the Philippines (and hopefully with his co-members). A letter dedicated to his Manila fans flashed on the scene saying,
We did a lot of things together and we have to continue to do it together. I’m grateful for your faith in me until now. Please continue to take good care of me. Let’s meet for a long time.
The happiness and the unpredictable magic of SHINee’s Onew and Jjinggus were witnessed that night, making unforgettable memories to remember.
